Legal Notice and Terms of Use
By using dylansalas.com you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
1. Owner
This site is owned and run by Dylan Salas, an independent data engineer based in Quito, Ecuador. Contact: hello@outlierity.com.
2. Purpose
The site is a professional portfolio with information about my services and past work. Nothing on it is a binding offer. Any engagement is agreed separately, on a freelance platform or in a written agreement, and is governed by those terms.
3. Content and intellectual property
Texts, design, code, illustrations, and images on this site belong to Dylan Salas unless stated otherwise. You may share links and short quotes with attribution. Copying, reproducing, or reusing the content for commercial purposes requires prior written permission.
4. Trademarks
Names and logos of tools, platforms, and institutions shown on this site (for example Upwork, Google, Microsoft, Amazon Web Services, DOMO, Zoho, LinkedIn, and GitHub) are trademarks of their respective owners. They appear only to describe the technologies I work with or the credentials I hold. Their use does not imply endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation.
5. Reviews, metrics, and case studies
- Client reviews are quoted verbatim from completed contracts on Upwork, attributed to the job title, and may be shortened with “...”.
- Profile metrics (job success, badge, jobs, hours, earnings) come from my public Upwork profile and change over time. Upwork shows the current figures.
- Case studies describe real work. Where client confidentiality requires it, the client is not named and confidential figures are omitted or shown as an index. Dashboard screenshots are published with the client’s permission or contain sample data.
6. External links
The site links to third-party services such as Upwork, LinkedIn, GitHub, and WhatsApp. I am not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices.
7. No warranty and limitation of liability
The content is provided “as is” for general information and is not professional advice for your specific situation. I try to keep it accurate and the site available, but I do not guarantee either. To the extent permitted by law, I am not liable for damages arising from the use of this site.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ecuador, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country of residence.
9. Changes
These terms may be updated. The current version is always the one published here, with its date.
